Goals

By the end of this unit study, students will have the opportunity to:

Schedule (5 Days)

Day 1: Journey Through Learning

  • Reflect on the various topics studied throughout the year
  • Engage in a “Memory Lane” activity, revisiting favorite lessons
  • Arts and crafts: Create a “Kindergarten Journey” poster

Day 2: Review Games Galore

  • Participate in review games for different subjects (e.g., math, science, literacy)
  • Play “Subject Jeopardy” or “Review Bingo” as a class
  • Outdoor activity: “Math Scavenger Hunt” or “Nature Alphabet Hunt”

Day 3: Creative Culmination

  • Collaborate on a class project that represents the highlights of the year
  • Engage in an artistic expression activity (e.g., mural painting)
  • Reading a favorite storybook from the year

Day 4: Celebrating Diversity and Unity

  • Reflect on the diverse topics studied and the unity within the class
  • Share cultural experiences and learnings from the year

Day 5: Moving Forward with Confidence

  • Discuss the next steps as students transition to the next academic level
