This Privacy Policy explains what information LearnIndex collects, how we use it, and the choices you have — including for information about your children.
Information we collect
When you create a parent account, we collect your name and email address. When you add a child profile, we collect the information you choose to provide about them — first and last name, age, and grade — and, only if you set one up, a separate login for your child.
As your family uses LearnIndex, we store the results that come from that use: Learning Checkup scores and answers, curriculum progress, guided skill practice results, and skill mastery history. If you use the optional family organizer tools, we also store what you enter there — to-dos, budget items, activity log entries, and any contact requests or invoices you create. None of this is shared outside your own account.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide the Service to your family: to generate your child’s LearnIndex Score and learning plan, track curriculum and practice progress, run your dashboards, and manage your plan and account. We do not sell your data or your children’s data, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising.
Children’s information
LearnIndex is designed to be used by parents on behalf of their children. All child profile information is entered and controlled by the parent account that created it. A child’s optional login gives them access only to their own practice and progress — never to account, billing, or other-family information. You can review, edit, or remove your child’s profile and data at any time from your parent dashboard.
Your rights: access, export, and deletion
You can request a full export of the LearnIndex data tied to your account — your own information, your children’s profiles, and every result, curriculum, practice, and mastery record connected to them — or request that it be permanently erased. To make either request, contact us with the email address on your account; we will process export and erasure requests through our site’s built-in privacy tools and confirm once complete.
How we store and protect your information
Your information is stored in our secured database and is never made public. Access within LearnIndex is limited to what’s needed to operate the Service, and every request for account or child data is checked against account ownership before it’s returned.
Cookies
LearnIndex uses only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to securely authorize your requests to our system. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and let active account holders know.
